The new version of the Market has what Google is calling a “carousel,” which you see here. It’s a circular arrangement of featured apps in different categories that you can flip through to find new and interesting content. Tweaks to the interface to make it nicer looking and easier to use are also scattered throughout theapp, including a tab for related content on every app page that will show you other similar apps.
Google also finally tackled how the market splits up different kinds of content–Live Wallpapers and homescreen widgets now have their own section in the Market, so you know when searching if you’re seeing a wallpaper, widget or full-blown app. You’ll also be able to see all of an app’s information on one page, instead of several tabs.
